Carol Lee Brosseau

Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers," that premieres on Sunday night on Ovation cable channel. The show focuses on their work as art brokers, who work with collectors, artists and buyers. Four episodes were created by the couple, and they will be on air throughout the month beginning Sunday, October 4, at 7 pm Central. Ovation hosts more than 50 million subscribers. They also help artists through the OvationDigital Arts network. They're hoping to get approval to continue filming. My life has been shaped by my Baylor friends and acquaintances I've met. Dr. Karen Pope in the Art History department. My most important classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also took her on trips to Chicago and Paris to study art. Her passion for art made it a lot of fun. She also stated that "Art history is like an intricate puzzle. As art historians, we always keep trying to find the pieces that can be put together." My family was brought up in the automotive business by my father, and had to work in the dealership every summer. The summer I worked there, I was a mechanic's assistant changing brake pads and oil.
